A new home for the band

Back in 1982 South Yorkshire Police Band took up residence in the new Police building at Main Street, Rotherham. Sadly the ever increasing demands of policing has seen the building struggle to accommodate all its staff.

The band will move to the new force training centre at Manvers, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham early in the 2009.
