Well the week before the Yorkshire Area Finals is here. That annual event that sees brass bands enthusiasts listen to the same piece  of music being played by about 17 times.  Only brass bands could do that, and they charge to get in too!

Leigh Baker hands over the reigns to Kevin Wadsworth for the final week of rehearsals. The test piece is New World Sketches, an original composition for brass band by Dan Price. It’s an interesting piece of music that the band is thoroughly enjoying.Like many bands we are struggling for that sound, not Glen Miller…. a car hooter. Do we go electrical, mechanical or antique?
