What to consider when booking the South Yorkshire Police Band

Availability

• To avoid disappointment the Band usually asks for a minimum of 6 weeks notice before the event date - however we will accommodate wherever possible.
• Band members come from all walks of life and due to work commitments it's difficult to take on concerts through normal working hours.

Logistics

• On most occasions seating for 25 will need to be provided (these must be adult sized without arms wherever possible).
• At a minimum the band will require a 6m2 performance space (please see diagram for set up details).
• Band members will need access to the venue at least 45 mins prior to the event in order to set up.
• Secure changing and storage facilities away from the stage will need to be provided for the band members.
• For events based in South Yorkshire members will arrive in private cars, therefore suitable parking will need to be arranged (for other events a coach may be provided).
