R.Marshall notes.....

Spirits - very good into 17. Controlled and disciplined - this is good. 50 - I would enjoy more lower voices in the cornet line. Good direction and control.  The band are confident - Eb bass ? at 101? Good horn balance at 143. 167 - 170 harsh from cornet. A little untidy to close.

Secrets - take a chance at p to start. Solo lines are expressive. Comfortable playing - unfortunate solo cornet at 199.

This movement didn't settle for me but if was accurately played and a ? sound at 227. Well done flugel.

Settlers - Good pulse & tempo from soloists. I like the tambourine which holds 281. ? semiquavers 306. 330 is very good in all parts. Good xylophone at 366.

Thank you for a very fine performance.

K.Wadsworth notes......

Shade ragged in opening bars cornets. 190 cornets good. 199 solo cornet - take more time - you can play so don't panic - enjoy it! - show your class! 221 bass tuning. 234 flug 236 sop nice. Good close.

III
