Fanfare Team

St. Ledger Race Day, DoncasterA relatively new addition to the band is the heraldic fanfare team. The team of 8 trumpeters are all taken from within the band.
Instruments
The team perform on the highest quality trumpets consisting of;
 

  • Soprano trumpet
  • 4 B flat trumpets
  • 2 tenor trumpets
  • 1 Bass trumpet

Two horses and a trumpeter
Recent performances have included Doncaster Races, York Minster, Sheffield University, Sheffield Cathedral and the Cutlers Feast.

The team also support the full band during concerts.
