Thanks for aiming at us - very good 2- Nice opening, lovely horn sound Solo Cornet is pure class! (Throughout!! tick tick :-) Take care with intonation - sop? Healthy p from trom to close 3- Good sense of rhythm - pulse is exact! Some really good playing and sounds - the odd intonation issues detract slightly from a fine performance This was a good performance - but could have been a great one Thank you RPB Webster 24.9.11 Adjudicators remarks- Steve Sykes1/ Bold and bright to open but neat too. 22 - has super dynamics and horn group really sings at 32 56 has good connections. This is all played in a light and easy style. 88 has good semi quaver figures and 96 has a well paced ff. 129 is motivated and 141 builds well to a dynamic conclusion. 2- A smooth and vocal introduction - solo lines well played. 19 could flow more but lovely tones (if not 100% secure) Lovely into 45, great 'p' dynamic here (but exposes a few moments of weak intonation) b61 a little untuneful in the highest sounds. Super apex? at 71. Really nice cornet soloist at 89 Stylish euph solo, just a bit untuneful to end (E's) 3- Compact and deft to open and it moves well, good articulation. 53 is technically secure 69 connects well 74 lovely sounds in euph/baris (but a bit untidy in b76 mutes 102-106 tidy and 106 low brass knit together well. 137 Effervescent playing Convincing flourish to end Thank you Steve Sykes 24.9.11

mainly stunning, bit of intonation, mainly stunning
